We received passes for a screening of the anticipated family movie of the summer, Earth to Echo. Now I love a good movie that you can laugh and cry with, but that is also a family-friendly movie where the family can enjoy a night out together. A group of influential bloggers and influencers in Chicago had a chance to watch the movie the night before it opened in theaters. Below is a review and rating for the movie.

REVIEW:

The movie was one of those where its told by someone that is filming the movie as it goes along. It started out with a group of teens that had to face the reality that they will have to part ways, because of neighborhood issues that cause their families to have to move away. A night of final good-byes among the group, send the teens on a journey across Nevada in search of a signal that ends up being that of the CUTEST little alien being, lost and trying to get home. They name the alien Echo and off they go spending the night trying to find the spaceship and get the alien home. Their adventure included bikes, cars and trucks, bars and motorcycle gangs; facing at times dangerous encounters.

In the midst of all of the chaos, we saw a group of people that had to deal with real life issues of friendship, acceptance, forgiveness, memories, separation issues, fear, care for others and laughter. We had a great time and all agree that the movie was well worth the time spent with family.

Be sure to check out the Earth To Echo movie in theaters now and use the hashtag #EarthToEcho. Special Thanks to Relativity Media and Azure.
