Dark Chocolate Chili Almond KIND bar

I'll admit, I've never really been a fan of anything spicy mixed with chocolate, but this is one of the exceptions. You don't really taste the chili with the first bite, but after the second, you get the sweetness, feel the crunch of the nuts, and then get a hint of the spice that lingers on your tongue long after the bite is over. It's not overwhelming, just enough to give your taste buds a little kick. The bar is sweet and savory and satisfied my cravings when I couldn't decide whether I wanted to eat something sweet or salty. It also filled me up and kept me full until dinner time so I didn't find myself reaching for another snack.

The Dark Chocolate Chili Almond KIND bar is non GMO, gluten free, contains no sugar alcohol, is low glycemic, and low sodium. It's a little hefty on the fat content, so make sure to take that into consideration when you're reaching for one as I inadvertently overlooked it myself. Considering the large amount of nuts in the product, combined with the chocolate, this bar contains 15g of fat. It also contains 210mg of Potassium, 16g of carbs, 200 calories, has 6g of protein, and 5g of sugar.

If you love a kick of chili every once in awhile, chances are you're going to love the Dark Chocolate Chili Almond KIND bar. Would I recommend it, yes, especially if you're racking your brain trying to decide between a salty and sweet snack.
