REVIEW Cruzerlite Spi-Force case for the Galaxy Note 2

Today we’re looking at the orange Spi-Force case for the Galaxy Note 2 from Cruzerlite.

TPU and Polycarbonate are the two dominant materials in case making today. The Spi-Force combines both in a two layered super case. The “webbed” case feels great in the hand and provides a solid grip. This is one of the more solid cases you’ll see. It really does feel like it would survive not just a drop, but a throw. To top it off, the price point is lower than any of the comparable brand name cases that I’ve seen that offer this much protection. You’ll find similar cases on sites like eBay, but I can’t speak to the quality of the materials used in those.

Thank you again to Cruzerlite for supplying their product for review.

Main advantage: complete drop protection from two piece construction. Great price point and available in 8 different colors

Main concern: None that I saw

Unique features: built in kickstand, highly grippable “web” design

How much: $19.90 on cruzerlite.com

Alternatives: Cases from Trident, Case-mate, Qmadix, and many eBay options

Is it worth buying: As I said, I can’t speak to the quality of the eBay cases. Though they are much cheaper for a similar design that includes a holster as well, they could easily be poorly constructed and result in damage to your 700 dollar phone. The cruzerlite case is nearly half the price of comparable cases from other known case makers. For my money, it’s one of the top cases out there that provides this level of protection.
