It's hard to find a really good nude lipstick, but even harder to find a nude lipgloss. Either the color isn't enough, the gloss is too sticky, it doesn't stay on the lips long enough, or it's so expensive it's a little ridiculous.
I recently tried Clark's Botanicals Ultra Rich Lip Tint in Moore Nude, and I'm a big fan as it gave me a natural look and offered me a switch from my favorite nude lipstick. Not only was the color subtle enough that it's not overwhelming while still offering enough that it's noticeable, but it went on smooth, stayed on even after I drank out of a water bottle and a glass, and it wasn't sticky. There also wasn't a horrible fake taste that can come with many lip glosses.
Even after I took off the Clark's Botanicals Ultra Rich Lip Tint in Moore Nude, my lips still felt soft thanks to the main ingredient, which is Butyrospermum Parkii a.k.a. Shea Butter. It's petrolatum-free and paraben-free. The only issue I have is that it's supposed to have a vanilla flavor to it, but there was only a slight hint of something along those lines.
Fun little fact: The product color didn't get its name from hinting at being super naked, but instead, is dedicated to Julianne Moore as she's apparently a big supporter of their products according to the Clark's Botanicals Ultra Rich Lip Tint in Moore Nude product page.
You can purchase the item for $19 plus shipping on the Clark's Botanicals site, or if you think you're going to go through a tube a month and don't want to forget to order it, you can sign up for their monthly subscription service which will send you a new one every month. Yes, it's a bit pricey for lipgloss, but in my opinion, it's worth it if -- like me -- you like a change up from your nude lipstick, want a shade that can go with everything, and want a lip gloss that is actually worth the price.
