REVIEW: 2 cases from PDair (Galaxy Note 2)

Today we’re looking at a couple of cases from PDair. One brown synthetic vertical flip leather case and one hinged aluminum case with an open screen design. Both are available for under $40.

Thank you again to PDair for supplying their product for review.

Main advantage: Cases are well made and they pay attention to the details, the metal case has a neoprene lining on both sides of the case and the leather case has one of the best cutouts for the home button that I’ve seen on a galaxy note 2 case

Main concern: Leather case doesn’t protect one corner fully; this could be a problem after a drop

Unique features: hinged aluminum case is remarkably thin but still solidly made, removable belt clip is a great design with a removable clip mount screw as well

How much: $35.99 for Aluminum case and $39.99 for leather flip case, both available at pdair.com

Alternatives: many, many, options available at a similar price point

Is it worth buying: Both cases are a bit utilitarian in their design. The clips that hold the phone in on the leather case aren’t very elegant. Additionally, the metal clip has all the right cutouts but some are larger than they need to be so your phone ends up “peeking” out a bit. Overall though, if the style fits your taste these are well made cases. The leather case is a bit expensive, but the hinged metal case is unique and worth the money.
