The Bone Bed by Patricia Cornwell is the long awaited return to the Kay Scarpetta that generated so much love in the beginning of Cornwell's writing career. Through the past several novels featuring Kay Scarpetta ME, the author had strayed from the style of writing that creating a cult-like following. Cornwell had included far too much science and far too little personal story lines in her recent novels.
The Bone Bed is truly a Scarpetta novel that should not be missed by fans. The interwoven themes found throughout will guarantee full reader attention and likely long hours of enjoyment.
Patricia Cornwell has hit the mark with this newest installment in a long line of Kay Scarpetta novels and is to be commended for finding her rhythm once again.
