During a recent retail convention early January in New York City, Build a Bear Workshop rolled it's sleeves to support a worthy cause for orphan children who resides in impoverish countries across the world. The Retail Orphan Initiative Organization mission is to raise awareness promote encouragement and generate contributions in order to improve the lives of these “Un-loved” children caused by abandonment or offered for adoption from their mother due to financial or personal strife.
Retail Orphan Initiative organization, a charitable foundation, was created to offer a chance for orphans from around the world to be cared and nurture for as poor countries lack the resources to resolve this issue. One hundred forty three million children are currently orphans in the world and every 5.2 seconds elapsed, a child dies due to malnutrition or death. Companies such as Build a Bear Workshop offer charitable promotions in which all proceeds generated will go to Retail Orphan Initiative. Money donated will be used for medical aid and expenses, provide nutritional meals, offer education and build children schools and prevent child trafficking .The organization also looks to encourage people who are unable to have children of their own but desire becoming parents and adopt a child. With funding available to cover the cost of adoption fees, the organization provides the opportunity for people who can make a difference in a child's life.
The number of orphan children, especially when it rivals the population of some countries, are in desperate need of our fullest attention to this matter. Children are the future of this world and cannot simply be cast aside from our sights. All children should have the same opportunity and human rights and above all just be loved and cared by compassion people. One never knows a child's potential of becoming a presidents, a doctors, a lawyers or the chance to become a parent themselves.
