Remember Me or remember that? That question alone is the sole focus around this entire game published by Capcom. Remember Me takes place in Neo-Paris around the year 2084, where there is a company that has designed a device that floats behind your head that stores all of your memories inside of it. But the weird thing is that these memories do not have to be yours. You will find people in different towns that actually buy, trade, and sell there memories to other people or at a store. And what is the main cause of this? Social Networking!

In this title you take on the role of the character Nilin, who is an amazing female former elite memory hunter with many different abilities. Nilin has the ability to break into people's minds and either steal their memories or alter them to progress through the story. These amazing powers caused the surveillance society, who created the memory device, to actually arrest Nilin because of the fear of her power! And this is how the story begins!

Right at the start of this game, you wake up in the company building where there is a gentleman who is starting to wipe your memories. You don't remember who you are, where you are, or what you are doing. The officers in the building are actually directing you towards a machine that literally wipes your whole entire memory machine completely thus making you need to start your life all over again. But fortunately enough, Nilin has one friend that finds a way to tap into her ear piece and help her escape out of this building.

Throughout the game, players find themselves having a very puzzle like adventure when trying to get from Point A to Point B. With Nilin having so much powers, you wouldn't think it would be just a simple walk would you? Nope! In this title, sort of like Prince of Persia, players have to find there way around building ledges, towns, light poles, street signs, and many other objects to get to there destination. But trying to use these objects to move around isn't even that easy. There are many times in this game, if you take a look at the video I uploaded, you will see that if you are not quick enough trying to pass over the sign on a building, you might just get knocked off! Timing is everything!

But of course there is always something new to learn when you finally solve the puzzle to get to the next area. Every story in this game offers something new to the player. At some points you will actually find yourself literally being able to alter people's memories. You will first be able to watch the memory in the standard story mode but after that you have the power to rewind and fast forward it to find glitches that can be altered. Of course, like trying to find your way around the town, altering minds is also a difficult puzzle. As you try to alter a mind, you may find yourself making a change to something that could end the game for you or maybe even kill the person you are talking too. So before you go trying to change people's memories, make sure to pay attention to what actually happened in the original memory and what needs to happen to progress through the story. If you really need to, rewind the whole memory and watch it over again.

But that is not even half of what you can do as a player. Nilin actually has the power to steal people memories and use them to her advantage. Sometimes people will ask her to do it, and other times you are just forced to. Again if you check out the video, you will see a portion of the gameplay where Nilin actually steals her biggest fan memories' and use them like a ghost trail to get from Point A to Point B. Again, you need to pay attention to where this ghost goes because if you fall of the trail, you will die.

But it is not all memory based fighting. Nilin actually has a kick-butt fighting side to her where she will destroy enemies with some intense hand to hand combat. As you start beating up on enemies and destroying them, you acquire special points that allow you to open up new combos and fighting techniques. Nilin has the ability to create fighting combos that do only hard core damage, combos that refill the life gauge, combos that lower the time before you can do a special move, or a mixture of all of them. But in order to really kick some butt in this game, you will have to learn how to properly fight with successful taps of the mouse. You cannot simply click super fast and hope that Nilin will do crazy combo damage; you actually have to hit the guy, and then click once more to do the second part of the combo. Eventually when you learn how to do it properly, which may take awhile, you will find yourself being to complete your 6-combo attacks and own your enemies in the streets.

But not everything is basic hand to hand combat! As the story progress's and you find yourself defeating different boss's, you will notice that when you steal there memories, you acquire their special skills. So if the boss can shoot out memory bullets with a special arm gun at you to knock you over, well, defeat him and you have that power too. Also, the more you level up, the more specials powers you will have. During a fight you may find yourself getting overwhelmed with the amount of enemies that there are to the point where not even dodging is going to help you. Well at these times, Nilin has the ability to activate special powers that will completely punish her enemies with some hard core punches that would make Vin Diesel from the movie XXX, look like a wimp.

What else could you possibly ask for in a game? This title has everything! Consider Capcom's Remember Me game a way more action packed, intense, insane, and better title than any Prince of Persia Action/Puzzle adventure game. Hands down this title deserves more than five stars and for that I will personally give it a 10. If for some reason you cannot get used to the fighting style, the story in this game will win you over. Nilin's powers of being able to alter and change memories is so technologically advanced that there is no way you will not want to do it over and over again! So remember this, Remember Me is a fantastic game that everyone should play!
