Regular Show: The Complete Third Season

As Cartoon Network’s hit animated series “Regular Show” continues to appeal to both children and adults with its slacker style of humor that reaches huge levels of absurdity, it’s naturally time for Cartoon Network to release a huge boon of “Regular Show” episodes. So come June 17, Cartoon Network is proud to present the complete third season of “Regular Show” on DVD creatively titled “Regular Show: The Complete Third Season.”

“Regular Show: The Complete Third Season” technically has over 40 episodes that comprised the third season of the Cartoon Network series about slackers trying to get out of their work. But looking carefully at the episode list and comparing it to the Cartoon Network schedule, you’ll notice that it’s actually 38 eleven minute episodes with the Halloween special split into its three short episodes. Nevertheless, the wit, humor, and absurdity in each episode give “Regular Show” its charm.

The “Regular Show: The Complete Third Season” DVD package has fewer bonus features than the DVD package of the first two seasons. Instead of all 40 episodes of the first two seasons receiving commentary, only 10 do in “Regular Show: The Complete Third Season.” Additional features include a Q & A session with creator J. G. Quintel, a live episode read, and a trivia section about the creator.

At an SRP of $26.95, “Regular Show: The Complete Third Season” is an excellent addition for “Regular Show” fans. One major criticism lies in how plenty of the third season’s good episodes already came out on DVD through a few “Regular Show” compilation DVDs with random episodes. At least this shows that the third season was where “Regular Show” got its funny groove.

“Regular Show” hits retail shelves June 17.
