Reggae artist Shaggy has been hard at work promoting his forthcoming studio album, Summer In Kingston. On a recent trip to New York City, Shaggy performed at the P.C. Richard & Son Theater and sat down with the DJs over at Hot 97 for an exclusive interview. Shaggy created a huge buzz during his NY visit, but it didn't stop there.
Shaggy performed his new hit single, "Sugarcane" during an episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on July 15. The performance was nothing short of perfection and Shaggy had the entire crowd dancing in their seats. The Grammy Award-winning singer was on his A-game and fans were excited to see him performing new material. The "It Wasn't Me" has always had a way of firing-up a crowd with his charismatic style and energy, so it's no surprise that he delivered just that during his Tonight Show appearance.
Shaggy fans in Jamaica will also be in for a treat, as Mr. Bombastic premieres the official music video for his song "Sugarcane" in Knutsford Square on July 16 at 7 p.m. Shaggy will also grace the stage tonight with a special performance alongside guests DI Genius, Agent Sasco aka Assassin and many more.
