Rebuild ($2.99, Universal) is an apocalyptic strategy, survival game from developer Northway Games. The premise of the game is to rebuild a once great city amongst a zombie infested environment. The game is played out in a strategy type style. As the player progresses through the story they are faced with a variety of obstacles. These obstacles include rival factions, zombie hordes, and managing food/morale. Overcoming these obstacles is often the most difficult aspect of the game; from defeating zombie hordes to raiding/farming for food, the game presents challenges at a pace that constantly keeps thing interesting and fresh.
The presentation of the game is also a high-point. The game is presented with semi-cartoon visuals that fit the atmosphere and are still simple in presentation. The game also has a wonderfully suitable soundtrack that further immerses the player in the experiences. The game also supports a full set of sound effects that fit the mood and immerse the player further.
