I wasn’t happy with the other sculpt in the Reaper Bones line, George the zombie, so this zombie is something of an improvement. Unfortunately, Stefan Niehues’ sculpt seems to be in a rather peculiar pose: did his hand get stuck in his hair? Is he performing a Three Stooges act? Is the gesture an insult that means “human loser”? Hard to tell.

But in any case, this zombie has a gaping jaw, an unnatural pose, and clothing that hangs in tatters. It’s unmistakably a member of the walking dead, which is an improvement over George. But the awkward sculpt – which doesn’t seem so much menacing as striking a pose – makes it less than intimidating.
