Skeletal spearmen are one of those sculpts created to fill a wargaming niche. I have almost never found a skeleton with a spear in adventure, usually because they’re packed together so tightly in a dungeon that spears are impractical. You get three of David Pugh’s sculpts, which stand at attention with an interesting shield in one hand and a not interesting spear in the other.
And that’s pretty much all they do. Stand there. No sense of movement. Just spearmen waiting to be told what to do. They’d make great thugs for a necromancer, but by themselves they’re not all that interesting. If you need undead troops, these will fit the bill.
You can purchase this figure at Noble Knight Games.
