Rambo's Kitchen - serving up 60's style! (Photos)

Rambo's Kitchen is a 1960's themed diner filled with pop-culture paraphernalia. The decor is eclectic, the staff is friendly, and they dish up breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Inside, you'll find what Jim Begley of the Las Vegas Sun refers to as "a kaleidoscope…awash with psychedelic tones" and tributes to the 60's, from vibrant daisy prints to pictures of celebs such as Twiggy and Jim Morrison. Mash episodes and cartoons from the 1960’s are playing on the TV’s and you will dine to the tunes of the 60’s. The kitchen crew and wait staff wear tie-dye T-shirts. Games such as checkers, UNO and dominoes are on every table. It is great fun just taking in all of the 60’s themed decor they have collected. In a word, this place is “Groovy”!

The menu's all-day breakfast specialties include freshly baked biscuits ladled with country gravy and pork chops with two eggs. Lunch offerings range from traditional to off-the-wall: freshly shaved pastrami piled on marble rye or burgers loaded with peanut butter and bacon. The signature Rambo burger stuffs its half-pound patty with cheeses, then stacks it with pulled pork, barbecue sauce, and an onion ring. You can order a hand-scooped malt or shake, which arrives in an old-fashioned tin, garnished with whipped cream. The mini donuts for dessert are a must! The Monte Cristo was the best EVER, ANYWHERE! The portions are HUGE – you'll take home ½ of your sandwich.

The menu includes French toast made from raspberry-swirl bread, country fried steak breakfasts or dinners, and barbecue-meatloaf dinners. There are too many things to choose from to list them all here. They have daily specials. Check out the full menu at: http://www.ramboskitchen.com.

Give Rambo’s a try – the food is delicious and the atmosphere of the diner makes the entire experience a lot of fun!
