"Radiant Abstractions", a display of Sharee's latest paintings can be seen at Savvy Rest Natural Bedroom Store in Berkeley (3001 Telegraph) for the month of October, 2013.

In Sharee's own words, "I created these paintings with the intent that they emanate a powerful radiant presence to activate a space with a glow that projects larger than what the canvas can hold." The photos that accompany this review cannot accurately capture that glow of which she writes. One should visit the store to participate in the warmth that has been created by these paintings. The bedding store, with its pale green and smoky lavender walls, is a perfect setting for these works. The viewer can even lay back on the beds in the store to test their comfort and gaze at the images on the wall. The paintings are brightly colored abstracts and encourage meditation.

The paintings are mostly mixed media or acrylic on canvas. They range in size from 16" x 20" through 42" x 42". Each piece is intricately layered with shapes, hints of spirits passing through the layers and radiant colors. One can imagine the emotions and thought process that journey through the overlapping patterns and colors.

For an experience that will warm your spirit and body, go to the Savvy Rest Natural Bedroom store. There you can enjoy the paintings and the well-constructed, organic mattresses, frames and bedding stock for sale.
