In Final Drive Fury, you race through various race tracks. You have three cars to race with: a Kia Spectar, a Havoc, and a Rage. Only the Kia Spectar is available to race with at the beginning of the game. It takes alot of races to make enough money to buy the other cars. You have a lot of upgrades that can be used to upgrade your cars, such as engine, transmission, and spoiler. There are two ways to play this game; you can play in an instant race. You also play in career mode, where you race with the Kia Spectar to earn cash. You could then use that cash to buy upgrades and the other cars. There are four races to compete in in career mode: Sundown Drag, Speed City Run, Urban Onslaught, and Xtreme Nitro Challenge. Only the Sundown Drag race is free to compete in; the rest of the races cost money to compete in. The three cars do look pretty nice, but that's about the only thing that is nice about this game. The gameplay is not that great; first off, the Kia Spectar is really bad on handling. As you are racing, the car will suddenly shift to the left and hit the barriers; this happens quite often. Also the car doesn't even get a good start, so by the time you get up to one hundred and ten miles an hour, the other cars are way past you. In the one of the races, I only won the race because the other cars were stuck on the barriers or flipped over. I didn't feel like I was really competing. Because the car was so bad on handling, I didn't even think it was worth it to try to unlock the other cars. If the car you get to race with was better on handling and pickup, then I would have played the game more.
