Quintessentially's ELEQT launches in New York City during New York Fashion Week. (Photos)

Opening day of NYFW, exclusive online community ELEQT held their Manhattan Launch at the Maserati of Manhattan. The event was attended by a mix of Euro jetsetters, trust fund babies, Models, Actors, 1%’s and 2%’s. I received an invitation notice about the event on Friday the 1st of February but by Monday, February 4th I was told in a very polite email that the list was closed and the event was at capacity. I still flew in to my hometown anyways, I was determined to attend this event. Luckily, being a native of NYC I spotted a friend that was a member that had a plus one. I was in.

When I arrived at the Maserati of Manhattan there was already a crowd gaining outside at it was only 8:30pm, but didn't this event start at 9PM? I also knew this party was it when I saw Aesha Waks list in hand at the door. Game on. The New York staff that was present at the event was all unusually good looking. They also had a knack of spotting party crashers and getting security to give them a prompt exit. Once inside the Grand Launch Party guests were greeted with the height of luxury from the start with an envoy of Maserati’s best parked outside and inside of the venue with a flowing of Brugal cocktails, Piper Heidsieck Champagne and premium spirits offered by The Macallan and Tequila Alacrán. Also prevalent throughout the event was Bellucci Napoli, Cantamessa, Mel Boteri, Carlyle Catering, Clairvoyant Pictures Inc., Decco by Party Up Productions, Forever Cheese, Forever Young, Heineken, Camelot Specialty Limos Inc., Tribeca Grand Hotel and Quintessentially Lifestyle.

The evening created an ideal platform for guests to mix with the like-minded and fellow style & business enthusiasts while celebrating the world of luxury lifestyle. Performances for the evening included DJ Demby, and international musician RUMI. Mid event an array of women dressed in carnival costumes paraded through the event with representation of island flare. Former playboy model and New York D.J Brittney Andrews was at the event , as well as Shawn Stone , Camille McDonald from Cycle 2 ANTM , Socialite Lucia Kaiser, Hih Grand Duchess Arianna, Ben Mindich , Montgomery Frazier "The Image Guru", Ana Berry, Janetta Kardashian, Maria McDonald model, actress and founder of Cover Girls for Change, and Fashion Designer Tamara Pogosian. Attendees were invited to a post event function where guests partied well into wee hours of the morning over at the Tribeca Grand.

ELEQT is the social site for the Uber Lux Quintessentially brand. The only way to get in is by an invitation from a current member or by purchase of one of the memberships. One can apply for a trial membership before you consider a membership purchase but you would have to go through a vetting process which you should know the right names to drop and they would need to confirm your association in order to get the green flag. Like many social networks for influential people what seems to set this site apart is that they have the backing of the Quintessentially Group brand and all their access which hence gives all the members better access. Their grand events are always free for members and the more intimate events are usual nominally priced but very well executed and very high-end. also have offices all over the world and do events in 120 countries.
