Last week the seventh season of Psych premièred on USA Network, and it started out with a bang. In the finale last season Henry was shot, in the season premiere we learned his fate, don’t continue reading if you don’t want to be spoiled as to what had happen.
Did Henry survive or not, this is Psych after all a show that tries to keep things lite, so of course Henry lives. The show would have taken a very dark turn if they had killed off Henry. As Henry was fighting for his life Shawn was chasing down his shooter, much to Juliet’s objection. We saw a different side of Shawn in the episode that had Juliet and Gus worried. Juliet was worried that Shawn was not thinking clearly and he was going to do something stupid. Lucky Lassiter had Shawn’s back and helped him come up with a plan to get his Dad’s shooter.
The episode ended with a nice moment between Father and Son it will be interesting to see how Henry being shot will affect Shawn this season and if it will bring him and Henry closer together.
