Project Fig delivers the natural secret for smooth skin

Have you taken a look at the ingredient list on your shaving cream? If you had a nickel for every word you couldn't pronounce you could, well, buy another can of shaving cream. Who really wants all those chemicals on their skin?

Project Fig doesn't, and that's why they created an entire line of natural skincare for "intimate grooming." The line contains a shave gel, soothing serum, exfoliant, and hair inhibitor. The central hub of the product line is the Shave Gel, which contains coconut oil, lavender, tea tree oil, chamomile, fig, and aloe to soothe and soften skin while reducing irritation. The Shave Gel is marketed toward use on the bikini area, but it can be used anywhere you'd normally shave.

It's a thin liquid-cream texture that doesn't lather, but imparts just enough slip to let your razor do it's thing without snagging or cutting. It doesn't seem to do anything miraculous, but it gets the job done without the help of nasty, drying chemicals.

The best part is that is comes in a pump bottle, making it super easy to use while in the shower. The fresh fig scent is also nice-- kind of reminiscent of Wen Fig Cleansing Conditioner.

A 6 oz bottle of Shave Gel retails for $18 and can be purchased at ProjectFig.com.
