Product Review: Pamela's Products Whenever Bars

I've been a big fan of Pamela's Products (especially their baking mixes) for a few years now.  When the company reached out to me and suggested I try their new "Whenever Bars", I knew I was in for a treat.

Whenever Bars are meant to be the perfect snack for just about, well, whenever!  These bars are dense and are quite cake-like, however they don't tip the calorie scale as there are only 180 calories per bar.  The ingredient list was quite impressive as well - each bar is made with organic ingredients, certified gluten-free oats, rice flours and natural sweeteners such as agave nectar.

Pamela's Products makes their Whenever Bars in 4 different flavors: Oat Raisin Walnut Spice, Oat Chcoolate Chip Coconut, Oat Cranberry Almond, and Oat Blueberry Lemon.  I was most excited to ry the Oat Chocolate Chip Coconut since I love anything with chocolate and/or coconut in it.

The Oat Chocolate Chip Coconut Bar was loaded with lots of chocolate and coconut flavor, and had chia seeds in it which was a nice way to get some extra nutritional ingredients in.  This bar would be a great breakfast treat or afternoon pick me up.

The Oat Blueberry Lemon Bar had nice lemon and blueberry flavor and wasn't overly sweet which was nice.

The Oat Cranberry Almond Bar had the perfect balance of tart from the cranberries and crunch from the almonds.

And last but not least, the Oat Raisin Walnut Spice Bar reminded me of cinnamon raisin bread- and in a good way!

Overall, the Whenever Bars are the perfect gluten-free snack and will definitely be a staple in my household.  Especially the Oat Chocolate Chip Coconut.
