Come here and smell my beard. This is not a common request, and in most cases, it ought to remain uncommon. Depending on the type of friends you have, that beard could smell like just about anything, and if you have friends like mine...well let’s not get into that.
If you were to nuzzle into my beard right about now, you would get a snoot full of Shuler. No, not the actual North American full natural beard Champion, Mr. Andrew Shuler, but the beard oil he created for Portland Beard Company (PBC). Michael Jordan had a shoe with his name on it, Brian Anderson has skateboards emblazoned with his BA, and Andrew Shuler has his name on some beard oil from PBC.
Shuler’s signature beard oil is a fresh new take on the already successful formula established by PBC. It is a blend of Argan and other natural oils that will, according to Portland Beard Company, hydrate, nourish and smooth your beard, and according to the beard on my face, it does so very nicely. Additionally, thanks to Shuler’s influence, there is the crisp scent of Bergamot which lends a zesty, citrus zing to the otherwise neutral oils contained in a one ounce PBC dropper bottle.
Shuler and PBC is a winning combination if there ever was one. Shuler grows a pretty fierce beard, and PBC makes a great product that helps protect it from its self-destructive ways. The fact that this oils smells as good as it does really seals the deal.
