Pokemon black and white versions

Nintendo's latest Pokemon additions were released last year, March 6, 2011 and were advertised mainly through the Nintendo Wii newsfeed as well as other forms of media. The amount of hype these two new Pokemon games produced was certainly brought to a screeching halt shortly after the gamers started playing. The new games introduced an entirely new variety of Pokemon that were severely lacking in the originality department.

The names of many of the Pokemon practically made the buyers feel as if they could have come up with something ten times better. Cottonee being the name of a cotton pokemon, Ducklett which was a small, blue duck, etc. Even though the simple, juvenille Pokemon names were a huge letdown, the amount of land to explore was quite impressive.

Occasionally, there would be a puzzle to solve to be able to battle the gym leader, and this added a creative quirk to the game. The storyline was not much different than any of the previous games, but the fact that the gamer had to beat the Elite Four twice made it somewhat more interesting.

This game wasn't terrible, definitly fun to play and keeps the gamer busy which is its intended purpose. As for the differences between the versions- either would suffice since all that really matters is which of the legendaries you prefer.
