Amid the sports bars, mall food court and fast casual eateries in Ballston, there's a pretty swanky restaurant tucked inside the Westin Arlington Gateway - Pinzimini. Despite not having any flashy signage on Glebe Rd., Pinzimini made a name for itself by winning best entree at this year's Taste of Arlington.
Their space inside the hotel is much different from their outdoor booth at this year's Taste, with a modern lounge area, mood lighting and a contemporary vibe.
Chef Graham Fontes has constructed an equally modern menu, highlighted by farm to table specialties and of course, their award-winning Chianti braised short ribs. Also, make sure to try the crispy braised pork belly and a new addition, the heirloom tomato DIY bruschetta board.
On Fridays, their charbroiled oysters are an all-you-can-eat special for $15 during happy hour as well.
Tip: Free parking is available in the underground garage with validation.
