The world famous Aerosmith tribute band, Aeromyth hit the stage at Sammy's Showroom inside Harrah's in downtown Reno in the first of a two night stand.
These guys really know how to put on an Aerosmith concert, knowing all of the moves of each original member, playing all the top hits to near perfection and totally blowing the minds of the nearly 400 screaming die-hard Aerosmith fans.
The set lasted 90 minutes and went like this,
"Toys in the Attic", "Dude Looks Like A Lady", 'Cryin", "Draw The Line", "Pink", "Same Old Song and Dance", "Love in an Elevator", "Big 10 Inch", "Last Child", "Angel", "Livin' on the Edge", "Come Together" (Beatles cover), "Don't Wanna Miss A Thing", "Sweet Emotion" and "Walk This Way".
The current line-up for Aeromyth is ....
Dino Morales as Steven Tyler
Dino was the lead singer for PUMP, Aerosmith Tribute for 4 years. Some of the members of PUMP later joined Aeromyth. He played with the band at Summerfest in Milwaukee to 10,000 people, the last Jack FM, Arrowfest at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, The 95.5 KLOS Mark & Brian Poker Tournament, numerous Las Vegas shows including performances on Fremont Street, and international dates in Puerto Rico, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Canada and much more!
Frankie Wilsey as Joe Perry
A gifted player formally of the Sea Hags, Frankie brings Joe Perry like no other. An AMAZING recreation of the man himself.
Neal Shelton as Brad Whitford
Neal has been performing on stages nationwide since a teenager. Neal has played guitar in many successful bands including Painkiller, "Judas Priest Tribute," Pyromania, "Def Leppard Tribute" and his original band, Black Triangle. Neal's original song, "NO WAY OUT" from the Black Triangle CD was used on NBC's "THE PRETENDER" on the 1999 season finale episode.
Robert is a native LA musician with 30 years experience in countless local bands, most recently with Rustbelt, which released 2 independent CD’s on the Jet Electro label. Influences include Paul McCartney, John Paul Jones, Chris Squire and the late great John Entwhistle. Aerosmith’s 1975 album “Toys in the Attic” was a major inspiration for becoming a bassist all those years ago.
Bob Duda as Joey Kramer
Bob started playing drums literally on pots and pans at age 4 but soon out-grew the kitchen floor and onto my first real kit at age 7. Most of his time was spent practicing by putting records on the stereo in his room and playing along. “It drove my family crazy!” (Laughing.) Bob spent the late ‘80’s in a variety of bands performing throughout the Hollywood club circuit and recording demo’s. In 1992 Bob joined forces with the band Takara which featured Jeff Scott Soto as guest vocalist & producer. For the next 6 years the band recorded 3 CD’s for worldwide release and received critical acclaim all around.
Being a tribute scene veteran, Bob has lent his drum talent paying tribute to Bon Jovi & Journey and Def Leppard where to date has performed over 250 shows worldwide. “I’m having the time of my life!”
If the real Aerosmith is not coming to town, then Aeromyth will most certainly give you your Aerosmith concert fix !!!
