Go ahead and say it. You have been a trooper putting your best face forward, trying to enjoy winter without complaining too much about the cold. But it’s March now, and you’re pretty much over it. Spring needs to hurry up and get here. Ready to get back to the business of being outside with something cold to drink, green grass under your feet, and warm sunshine, you’re ready for some yard games.
Phloops is a new game that will have you dreaming of lazy weekend afternoons, the smell of smoke from the grill, and laughter with friends.
Made from sturdy molded plastic, the game folds to form its own portable carrying case, making it easy to play on the go at the beach or picnics.
A tricked-out new twist on traditional ring toss, Phloops features a patent-pending design that includes durable, three-ring “phlingers” that add layers of challenge and strategy when combined with the unique triple post design.
The game has a nice feel to it – the weight of the “phlingers” makes them easy to handle – a heft that feels high quality without being heavy. The way the game folds to form its own carrying case is geniusly efficient. There’s nothing flimsy about this product. It is made to withstand lots of gameplay and last a long time.
Phloops is Made in USA and is made of FDA-approved polyethylene. It comes in a variety of color combinations to match your favorite team colors – making it a perfect tailgate party game.
Phloops was invented in 2012 by Michigan native, Steve Goebel. He says the idea came to him suddenly at night when he was nearly asleep. He got up and quickly sketched the idea on a post-it note, then went back to bed and told his wife, Karen, about the idea the next morning.
The husband and wife team are also business partners and worked together to develop the concept and bring it to market. Next steps include the pursuit of official team licensed versions of the game for various pro and collegiate sports.
