Phantom is based on the classic novel by Gaston Leroux that tells the story of a masked figure who lurks underneath the Paris Opera House and terrorizes the performers. He falls in love with ingenue Christine and coaches her to become an opera star, thanks to his diligent tutoring. But she loves Raoul and this love triangle causes the Opera Ghost much anguish that must be resolved.

As Phantom, Cooper Grodin carries a powerful voice as well as charisma and charm. Julia Udine as the lovely Christine has the vocal range, capturing innocence, love and fear. Veteran actress Linda Balgord commands the stage as Madame Giry.

This new version features newly reinvented staging and scenic design with a cast and orchestra of 52, one of the largest productions on tour in North America. The production fills the stage completely with pageantry and colorful costumes.

Re-envisioned by Cameron Mackintosh, the same producer who brought the newest version of Les Miz to the stage, this production of Phantom continues to mesmerize audiences. This new touring company is the first to tour the U.S. in three years.

And, oh the glorious music....it stays in your head and plays over and over again. Don't miss it!

Phantom of the Opera is playing now through March 2 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, 151 W. Randolph in Chicago. For tickets and more information, visit www.thephantomoftheopera.com or www.broadwayinchicago.com.
