Around the world found on installations, posts and ships, the Pentagon Channel broadcasts daily news. Special programs that are military related are created to keep the troops up to date and provide inspiration and support for those deployed and away from home.
Lots of American citizens (the civilians) might assume that the Pentagon Channel is just for the military! NOT so!
One such program offered: FNG (for new guys and I think they also mean "girls") is a huge hit. We often log on and watch it! The program content varies. One day, it was a demo from the installations's frame shop, and then off to the craft area for a quick and easy, inexpensive Christmas gift. Then we learned how to stay fit during the holidays. We just recently logged on to learn all about social networking. How to be safe on line while tweeting and sharing on Facebook! All of the FNG Shows are saved online, so at any time you can log on and access the content!
Holidays are special times and bring together families and friends. Stressful too, as we never seem to have enough of that time! We hope that you will make time to log onto the Pentagon Channel this Christmas Season!
