The Fess Parker Resort located right on a beautiful beach in Santa Barbara, offers pet friendly luxury not to be missed. The 24-acre resort includes three tennis courts, a swimming pool, spa, fitness center and on premise bike rental.
Upon arrival, cookies are served for both you and your dog. A doggie welcome bag includes a ball, Fess Parker customized milk bones, FidoFriendly magazine and A Dog Lover's Guide to Santa Barbara, which includes information about dog friendly restaurants in the area and hikes not to be missed. Toys and treats can be purchased in the Gift Shop.
A "Pawriffic Menu" is available for room service delivery. Delicacies include Howlin' Ground Sirloin (8 oz. cooked to order), Alpo Dog Treats, Iams Canned and Dry Dog Food, Jumbo Pig Ears and Rawhide Bones. Items for Cats include Albacore Tuna, and Iams Feline Food.
Your well behaved dog is welcome to sit at a "Pet Post" outside the resorts' Barra Los Arcos and Cafe Los Arcos while you dine al fresco.
Pet waste receptacles and baggies are located along walking paths at the resort.
Fess Parker, an American Icon, who passed away in 2010, played Daniel Boone and Davey Crockett in the 50's and 60's. He built the Fess Parker Resort in 1986. He and his wife loved Santa Barbara and lived there for over 30 years, playing a very active role in the community.
