An Air Museum? In Palm Springs???

"Boring!" Shouted the kids in the back seat.

"Why not?" Was the thought from the driver in the front seat.

So without talking about where they were going, the car drove the family to the Palm Springs Air Museum.

Ten minutes later, the kids entered the Palm Springs Air Museum with jaws hanging.

Inside the completely "I've been to Palm Springs 800 times and never knew it was there" building, lay photos, artifacts and actual airplanes that you can see, touch and climb into! There is even an entire library of videos to rent about air and flying!

But the best part? The volunteers! Men (and women) who actually fought (or helped) in combat during one of our wars! They are on the property inside the museum who are there to talk to you about their experience! Got a question? Ask away. Chances are you'll hear more about things you didn't know you wanted to know!

The rooms are intricate and interesting. And worth every minute of your time!

If you are going to be in Palm Springs and wanting to do something different, stop by the Palm Springs Air Museum and get a thrill!
