Lunch at the Outback Steakhouse

I've just come from reviewing Outback Steakhouse and there are going to be some good reasons that I can recommend your dining there.

The first is Grace. She was so helpful in assisting me with choices from three menus. She said it was about building relationships and since she works here and another favorite restaurant of mine in Kihei, that will be easy to do with her.

She will take good care of you.

Second, is that there is a shortage of places to go for lunch in the Kihei area, that you will want to eat.

Third: I had to find a place to send all the people that ate at Stella Blues and are disappointed about the closure of this almost three decade old establishment, that have closed their doors.

Well, I figured that Outback was a good place to start figuring it out!

So I started off with the Seared Ahi Tuna, a sashimi-style Tuna rubbed in spices and seared rare with a creamy ginger-soy & wasabi vinaigrette.

Grace suggested a chopped salad.

My main course was Lobster and Mushroom topped Mahi. I am always in search of a fresh Mahi Taste and Outback did not disappoint.

I enjoyed the Kangaroo Picture on the wall, the music was playing and the lyrics sang out about have everyone's wanting to have my life and I was feeling content. Three menus of choices, there is certainly something for everyone.

Ran into a woman that I went to high school with and her mother from San Diego and all & all had a positive 5 star experience.

Hope you like the photo.

Be sure to go to Outback's web site to see the latest menu offerings: & know that Hawaii pricing is different than the mainland.

I love eating out on Maui during the day time hours. They open at 11 AM and Lunch till 4 PM and continue with the dinner menu. It's great to have good food to eat close to home when I don't feel like cooking.

Mahalo to the Outback for serving up tasty food in Kihei!

Mahalo for supporting restaurants on Maui. Eating out here is an event and experience that the fortunate ones relish.

They are in the Safeway shopping center...
