Oskar Blues Ten Fidy Imperial Stout, Lyons, Colorado 10.5%abv. packs quite a punch. The Ten Fidy refers to its 10.5%abv. This rich dark Imperial Stout pours black with a dark tan head. Aromas of espresso, dark cacao and dark roasted malt fill your nose, promising good things to come for your first sip. That sip does not disappoint, flavors or rich dark cacao with a hint of sweet molasses followed by espresso and a long floral hop finish. The only thing disappointing is when the last sip is finished. Hopefully you have another can to open. But be careful, the high alcohol content can sneak up on you after a couple or these.
