Organic Lemon Honey Chamomile Tea review (Photos)

When most people think of chamomile tea, they usually think of a comforting hot drink to sip before heading off to bed that will help them sleep better. They are right. The chamomile plant has so many other health benefits though that it is an injustice to confine it to a pre-bedtime ritual. Boston Tea Co. has combined the wonderful healing and calming properties of chamomile with the versatile rooibos plant, added honey, osmanthus and lemon to create a delicious, beneficial tea one may enjoy throughout the day.

Preparation information: 1 1/2 tsp per 8 oz cup of 208 degree water for 5-6 minutes.

Tea may be brewed multiple times. I found this tea to be delicious. The dry leaves have an earthy aroma with a hint of honey. The brew is light and refreshing and it felt good on the tongue. The honey added just the right amount of sweet to the taste so there was no need to add more sweetener. The lemon and osmanthus added a unique flavor keeping it from being a run-of-the-mill chamomile. This is not only a winter pantry must have but a staple for your tea pantry year-round.

Though the teas I have reviewed for Boston Tea Co. were given to me; this in no way influenced my review.
