Optimum Health, a natural healthcare facility in Richmond, Va., offers alternative health care practices ranging from nutritional consultations to detoxification. Owner, Ms. Tianya S. Clark, BS, CNHP (Certified Natural Health Practitioner), provides a wealth of education and information regarding your overall health.
The consultation
Prior to beginning the consultation, you are given a questionnaire which provides insight that may help to develop an accurate Personal Recipe for Health. The Personal Recipe for Health is one of the many outputs of this initial consultation. The initial consultation ranges between two and three hours. While the cost is rather expensive ($75 per hour), it is absolutely worth the investment.
The consultation includes a foot detoxification (valued at $60) and interpretation as well as an iridology session (valued at $50).
Aqua Detox™
The foot detoxification is a total body detox. As your feet are placed in a warm bath, an electrical magnet breaks the water molecules down into ions. The electrical signals are also used to unlock your cells facilitating the excretion of toxins. The Aqua Detox™ system is in essence detoxifying the body at the cellular level.
As the water changes, Clark is able to interpret the colors and texture; relating those changes to organ warnings and/or ailments. This process is very educational as Clark is able to break down complex medical terms and conditions into laymen’s terms so that you can understand.
Iridology
Through iridology, trained individuals are able to connect organ malfunction with the patterns in your iris. Iridology has been used for centuries to gauge overall body performance and health. Using a magnifying glass, Clark is able to interpret the patterns of the iris looking for specific marks or abnormalities. These marks or abnormalities are then connected to an organ or set of organs.
The experience is enlightening and telling.
Personal Recipe for Health
After you have learned more about the way your body functions, Clark provides a Personal Recipe for Health, which includes a list of supplements and behaviors for you to follow for the next thirty days. As she explains this process, she provides products sold by her facility as well as less expensive versions that you can purchase elsewhere. Recommendations like these further justify her commitment to your overall health.
