Nov 5, 2010 - The Spanish Harlem Orchestra delighted in Los Angeles Thursday night as part of the short tour to California that saw them first in Oakland. Handsome in their dark suits and light silver ties, the great sounding group led by pianist Oscar Hernandez performed some of their well-known songs and many out of their brand new CD “Viva La Tradicion,” the fourth release by this band that never lets down its audience.
The Angelino Salsa community showed great support for The Spanish Harlem Orchestra as a nicely mixed crowd gathered for the performance. The locals counted with the help of a few music lovers who came to L.A. just for the occasion, some of them from as far away as Houston!
“Viva La Tradicion” can be perused and purchased through Amazon and iTunes. Links are available from http://spanishharlemorchestra.net/
