The new renovated Odyssey at Navy Pier is an elegant cruise ship with creative cuisine, DJ, live entertainment and the chance to view Chicago’s amazing skyline. The Odyssey is a 749-passenger, 200-ft. long and 55-ft. high ship and is one of the largest cruise vessels to journey the waters of Lake Michigan that exudes chic, modern décor and design throughout all of their interior dining rooms and outer decks. I was fortunate enough to take a two-hour dinner fireworks cruise for an unforgettable experience in the newly renovated yacht that also offers lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch or moonlight cruises.
Entertainment Cruises Vice President Dan Russell says, “We are very excited about the multi-million dollar renovation of our flagship Odyssey at Navy Pier. Spectacular lighting, rich color palates, hi-definition sound, flat screen audio visual systems and a plush new outer deck lounge will highlight Chicago's finest yacht, which is truly reborn.”
As soon as you are boarding the ship, the ship’s photographer records the moment for your entire party in addition to a greeting from the crew as you step onto the ship. The distinctive cuisine is prepared fresh on-board daily and you are served right away, however, you are welcome to spread the courses out and explore the ship throughout the cruise. You’ll be able to discover unmatched views of the world-famous Chicago skyline from every table, however, be sure to visit the Captain’s bridge, open to all passengers throughout most of the cruise to catch view of Willis Tower, John Hancock Building, Museum Campus, Soldier Field, Aon Center and more.
