Novo Restaurant and Lounge is a great little spot located in the heart of San Luis Obispo--downtown. Although it is slightly hidden by it's facade, it's not so hard to find if you're looking for it. However, what is most interesting about the restaurant is that unlike usual restaurants, the seating for it is located in the back on a patio bordering SLO creek.
This hidden oasis of delicious world plates is a place for diners from dates to nice family dinners. Although it is a little pricey, diners definitely get what they pay for. With lunch ranging in the low to mid-teens, and dinner from $10 all the way to $32, it can definitely be considered a place for fine-dining. Nevertheless, Novo has something for every diner, including their banquet-style set-ups for large families or parties.
With an tagline of "Worldwide Flavors. Creekside Ambiance." diners definitely experience such a setting. And with either reservations or drop-in diners are sure to have unique experiences.
