See that car. It is a beautiful car. Lift up the hood. But if you don't tend to what the engine needs, the car won't be able to do what it needs to do for you. A group of yuppies get together after a ten and some year period of going to college and after an urban drama, a rather interesting state of affair ensues. The whole deal about the story which Not Since You, Sam & Amy and 01 graduates of N.Y.U., say, so maybe tomorrow I'll find my way home. The hot topic during the reunion, the girl they both dated who surprised them both by dumping them for the emotional love affairs they had with another woman. Baggage, the partial focus of the film, and so much more, sounds less like love and more like an ad for Famous Barr Department Stores at times. And yet the two major whoo hoo richter scale events outline his old book only a few pages written, yellow at the edges and his best friend, the other dumpee elaborates on the beauty of the brief leaves. "To arrive at the wedding after the bride." One escort names a problem. But, "Whatever happened to the promises you made, little notions of your breakthrough days." The reunion of friends a wedding, at least those folk invited grateful to get an invitation got an invitation. Exclusive may be rude and not so gala among friends you leaned on, and so the friends here do not shun the guests anymore than the ghost of the day. As the wedding celebrations go on, and one ex co-ed gets asked to dance at the wedding by a handsome man with a beard who protested earlier that the hair design has not yet prevented, and but rather enhanced his dating life. The film reveals so much about friendship and love and what may knit the soul of two together, and whether the determination of a forever love, loyalty, the impression of memory on the mind, a candlestick, the things you do, one sometimes cries as one really at times only wants to know why things turn out the way they do. "You will always be my girl," although seems as a jester joke of some illusion metal song ballad. And as watching men who still care about a woman who long found love with another, hard to face a film like this and say with a serious face you enjoy a lot of short mass stories which draw out too long. After all, perhaps it is just the way of the film Not Since You to say life has other things. And now is the time to go on.
