The title track of the album is offered for free, and is a good example of Norwegian Arms sound. Sporadically fast click clack progression acts as a spice throughout somewhat distant acoustic instruments and rapid fire vocals that make everything sound like a very weird and and eclectic Southwest mix. This style of vocals comes into play again in tracks like “Soviet Bycyle”, another song that's really driven along by the speed of the vocal that seems to seamlessly hug the beat.
Some tracks like “She Lives in a Secret Town” are accented by surf sounding electric guitar that somehow transforms into a moog tone!
Altogether the sound is very upbeat and catchy with a production that can be compared to “Dr. Dog” a little bit (which makes sense since it was recorded at Dr Dog's studio).
“Wolf Like A Stray Dog” by Norwegian Arms is available via their Bandcamp page.
