Nightcrawler issue 2 published by Marvel Comics is written by Chris Claremont. This issue that was published on May 14, 2014 has art work by Todd Nauck with cover art by Jamie Mckelvie. The last issue left us with Amanda and Kurt hopping off to find out who send Trimega after Amanda and to find out who else the Trimega was after.

This issue starts off super sweet as we get to see some background behind the relationship of Amanda and Kurt. We get to see them as childhood friends who were both in the circus. They lived the dream. What kid wouldn't want to live in the circus with all their friends? We get to see who took care of Kurt and some other friends of his. Kurt and Amanda go back to the town where the circus people live in their off time. It's super quit until they get a lead on a woman they are looking for. Some real harmless action kicks off before the real trouble sets in.

This was what I would call a "filler" issue. Not much went on action wise until the very last page. It was a cute, fun read. It was nice seeing who Kurt was before he became Nightcrawler. And I just loved seeing Amanda and Kurt's love blossom when they were kids. The art was was beautiful and the dialog was easy to follow. If you are looking for some light reading this is a good issue.
