If you are looking for a great new place to eat with a cozy atmosphere and excellent menu, then visit Nicky V's Neighborhood Pizzeria and Patio on Coors Boulevard in Albuquerque.
Their concept is simple, utilizing the highest quality ingredients available, purchasing local, organic vegetables and herbs when possible, signature dough made in house, and dishing up the resultant fare in a customer centric manner. Nicky V’s Neighborhood Pizzeria has already been well received by the community with a number of positive reviews in print and on line, most notably a 3 ½ star review in the Albuquerque Journal, as well as being chosen “Best New Restaurant, 2010” by Albuquerque the Magazine, and securing a berth in Chef Knockout 2011, an Iron Chef Style competition for New Mexico Restaurants.
It has a wonderful feel to it with three main sections: the outside patio for Spring and Summer, the front restaurant area for the main dining room, and the back restaurant extension which doubles as a convenient and highly useful meeting space for rent. The atmosphere is enhanced by the large brickoven fireplace constantly belting out masterpieces of delicious Italian food, something that always seems synonymous with Mom's homemade cooking.
The menu has quite a selection on it as well. You may want to start off with the Margherita Pizza, which will put your tastebuds into a state of pure ecstasy. Then go from there in any direction. Regardless of what you choose, you can't go wrong with this menu, especially with the price which is very affordable for anyone's wallet.
Customers love dining here so much for lunch and dinner that they are left with only one resounding question. Where are the calzones?
Nicky V's is a real solid gold winner with exceptional taste and flavoring in every dish, appetizer and entree on the menu. It's no wonder they were dscribed as "a new pizza paradise found in the Duke City" by the Albuquerque Journal.
Nicole Villareal, of Nicky V's Neighborhood Pizzeria, was recently presented the award for "Best Small Business 2011" by the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce. According to Nicole, "to be recognized at this level is an absolute honor and we look forward to many more years of serving the Albuquerque community."
Don't forget to dine there on Wednesdays when all of their bottled wines are on special! With the purchase of any 2 entrees, you can select any bottle from Nicky V's extensive wine list for 1/2 off. A perfect night to try that special Chardonnay, Malbec or maybe Cabernet Sauvignon from their climate controlled wine cellar at a great price!
