It's the New Year and we all have some resolutions regarding our health, fitness, body image, goals, etc. One of the ways you can begin is by making some time for yourself, including PAMPERING yourself on a regular basis...good for the body, mind & soul. So...I started with a long, lingering, luxurious FACIAL at Architexture Salon in downtown Ventura.
I was greeted warmly by the staff at the Salon. Nancy, the Salon Manager, introduced me Keri, the Esthetician/Massage Therapist at the Salon. They asked if I wanted some water or coffee and gave me some time to look around the eclectic salon, filled with original artwork, featuring local artists on a rotating basis. Very impressive. The color scheme was very unique with Chartreuse Green Walls in a 1903 Brick Building. Erika, the owner, is a color specialist and the salon seemed busy.
I was escorted upstairs to the Facial Room and enjoyed an hour of bliss...my face was treated to soothing gels, cleansers, moisturizers, balancers and booster drops, all organic products from a local Ventura company The DNA Health Institute www.dnaskin.com I enjoyed hearing about the organic ingredients, smelling the fragrances of essential oils and plant oils.
Keri was very informative about the product knowledge and I was intrigued by the descriptions of each and every product, stating 100% natural, chemical & preservative free.
My Experience at Architexture was very pleasant, and I will definitely visit again for another Spa Treatment. The signage on the building is hard to find, and parking is in the back of the building. The vibe I felt there was extremely favorable. www.ArchiTextureSalon.com
