When the chips are down and there are few options to choose from, it would seem like the easy thing to do would be to quit. For recording artist LaTaveya, however, she knew that what seemed easy was not necessarily the best and in her single I'M BETTER she shares her journey with the world.

"I was lost," she confesses, "couldn't find my way. I lifted my head and started to pray. 'God please help me to hold on. I don't feel like moving on'." Realizing she had to do something without the help of her family and freinds, LaTaveya shares this revelation when it comes to God: "I know I can depend on you. Lord please help me make it through."

That help is what assured her that things would be better. "In spite of what they say...,"she sings, "In spite of what they do... I will not quit, because I know I win. I know no matter what happens my life is going to be better." LaTaveya knew that with God nothing was impossible, and that hope kept her going.

So when things get hard and you want to quit, remember what LaTaveya says in I'M BETTER. No weapon formed against us will prosper, and with God's help no matter how many times we fall down, He will help us to get right back up and keep moving forward. We will not quit, because we know that we win. If we just hold on we can make it through---all we have to do is say to God 'I am running to you.'
