New Releases 1/18/11: Blackmore's Night "Autumn Sky"

I can sum up Blackmore's Night's new album "Autumn Sky" in one word DEPRESSING. Depressing, because Ritchie Blackmore, the guitar god behind hard rock legends Deep Purple and Rainbow, has decided to spend/waste his talent making glorified renaissance festival music.

Blackmore's Night is a duo that consist of Ritchie Blackmore and his now wife Candice Night, "Autumn Sky" is the duo's eighth album. Don't get me wrong, the talent is there, "Autumn Sky" is a very well put together album and if it is your taste in music more power to you, but from a Hard Rock/Heavy Metal perspective it is just DEPRESSING.

How sad that you do not see the incredible talent, imagery and thought put into this amazing music. How sad that metal heads like you have done such heavy damage to your brain by too much head banging over the years. Hopefully one day you will grow some taste and be able to see the beauty in this music instead of the dark loud noise that you prefer. Till then, the rest of us will bask in the glow and glory of Autumn Sky and all the rest of the BLackmore;s Night music - while you stay in your, as you say depressing world. LOL Enjoy!
