Motorola will soon to be coming out with a new tablet Xoom 2 Media Edition. Here are some of the new Features that should come with the Xoom 2 Media Edition. The screen will be smaller than the first Xoom from 10.1 inches to 8.2 inches. The screen will be HD, an IPS display and an anti glare coating. A Gorilla glass display will give the screen durability. An 8-megapixel camera will allow 1080p video recording and picture stabilization.
The smaller screen will help to make the Xoom 2 lighter from 1.6 pounds to 0.95 pounds. Also a magnesium and aluminum chassis will make the Xoom 2 lighter. Other features include integrated IR remote and a sub-woofer. Rumors for it to be an e-reader replacement, as an Amazon tablet rival, maybe. An upgrade to a 1.2 GHz from a 1.0 GHz processor will power the new Xoom 2.
