I invite you to accompany me on a journey of spiritual discovery and growth - a journey that took me into the roots of Inkan spirituality and healing. This journey involves a living tradition and that started well before the rise of the Inka. It dates back over 1600 years, to the first peoples of South America.
Like all peoples of the Andeas, the Inka had a preoccupation with living spiritual energies. These ancient seers knew there was no seperation between the sacred and the mundane; all things were manifest of spiritual energy.
-preface of Natural Mystic by Zane Curfman
Within this text, is both a colorful history and a spiritual guide to communicating with all nature spirits. These nature spirits include local, area, and world spirits. Along with discussion of the Pachacuti Prophesies, is a detailed description of the levels of the andean priesthood, and how each level of the priesthood is just as important as any other one. Currently there are four levels, and they are waiting for the fifth to appear any time.
Also provided within this great book, are both exercises and descriptions of the three paths a priest can take (the Hummingbird, Condor, and the Puma). The exercises encompass a simple healing and meditation, and hands on work to help communicate with our nature spirits around us. To top it all of, in the back, is a handy glossary of ketchua terms( the native language) which will help relate more with this long-standing tradition!
