Sentry Natural Defense Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs

First off, the spice scent for this product personally to me I cannot stand it. But how does it work? Everyone has a different experience with products and with this product some are not happy with it but more people are happy with it when I checked Amazon's reviewer posts.

With my own experience, I applied it to a 20 pound dog. He didn't run from it, I was able to apply it on him as he waited. I think it does help, but I have to apply it all the the time and with every trip outside; three times. It does not eliminate them or repel completely because every time I take him out it seems he's still picking them up from the grass.

On one day that I didn't apply it, I find over a dozen or two seed ticks (and or maybe fleas) on him. I can't be certain if he didn't also pick up some of the bugs on days that he was sprayed. When I ran the flea comb over him tiny bugs were on the loose hair. The spray may be working on slowing down the bugs that have gotten on him. When I sprayed him suddenly a fly looking bug came on my hand and I slapped it, but don't know what happened to it. It looked like a flying insect that might've been a flea. They also seem to retreat to other parts such as the top of his head, on his face and around the eyes and between the feet webbings.

As for ticks dieing on contact, when I spray it once or twice on them on a tissue, they're still alive but slowed down, after I spray them enough to drench (drown) them in it is when they appear dead.

This spray seems to help a little, but it needs to be sprayed all the time which is tiring. Also, this type of spray nozzle makes it difficult to use when you tip the bottle and, it leaks out on my hand.
