Good news all, Music City Brewer’s Fest tickets are finally for sale. This annual event, and my favorite event of the year, is July 27, 2013. Once again there are two distinct sessions 12-4 p.m. and 6-10 p.m. The prices for the two sessions differ greatly. Tickets for the early session are $35.00 and the late session go for $49.00. I know the late session is more popular but am not sure why. I can only say hit the early session, the beer is fresh and cold, the weather is not too hot, and the bathrooms are cleaner.
Also, I have been on a new fun phone app recently, Untappd. This is a great app that lets you check in and follow friends and see what they are drinking. Essentially it is Facebook for beer. The app also provides helpful suggestions for beers to try based upon the beers you mark as having had. So come on all, follow me on Untappd as I am Princessofhops.
