You are invited to submit an online portfolio of your work for the Museum of Motherhood’s first Art Exhibition and Auction Gala.
Join this exciting cultural and arts opportunity to participate in the work of a visionary museum and leader in the field of the motherhood agenda. The Museum of Motherhood preserves a passion for the issues that confront women historically, in current cultures and climates and looks toward the growth and evolution of motherhood and women of the future. This past, present and future awareness and call to action is at the forefront of the Museum’s mission and vision.
The Art Exhibition and Auction of May 1st, will launch our three day Annual Academic Mom Conference event to take place on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of May.
All submissions must include: a cover letter, CV, exhibition proposal, photos of the work (up to 10 photographs), and a written statement of your vision of motherhood and women in the arts. The work submitted can be inclusive of original works of sculpture, paintings, jewelry and crafts, photography and video.
All submissions are to be received no later than February 1st, 2013 and are to include your interest in donating all or part (70%) of the proceeds of your artwork to the Museum of Motherhood; a non-profit organization. In the case that your submission is received and approved for the exhibition and auction; you will hear back by March 1st, 2013 from the museum with further information.
