When it comes to cleaning and doing laundry, my family and I have been trying to use more “green” products especially when washing our hands. We have a five-year-old daughter that attends day care so it’s extremely important that she washes her hands as often as possible to try and combat germs. It’s already hard enough at times to get her to wash to her hands especially since a lot of these hand cleansers are harsh and end up drying out her skin.
Needless to say I was ecstatic at the chance to try the Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Foaming Hand Soaps, which were created with kids in mind and just launched this week! I have a laundry detergent from this brand that I absolutely love, so I was quite sure I was going to love the soaps as well. They sent me the Watermelon and Apple scents to test. The soaps also come in Lavender and Lemon Verbena. In addition to the soaps they also sent a box of earth-friendly finger paints from eco-kids creative play along with a blank canvas to create some fun pictures. We received it right before the big snowstorm hit the Northeast. Talk about great timing! My daughter and I had a blast finger-painting and when we were finished it was the perfect opportunity for us both to try out the new Foaming Hand Soaps. We are both suckers for watermelon scented products and this one smelled so yummy. The fragrance is sweet, fresh and the soap felt great on our hands. Very gentle!
The Foaming Hand Soaps have the same hard-working formula as their popular Liquid Hand Soaps. Kids seem to really like foam so these soaps make washing up fun & easy for the whole family and one pump is all you need. As always, every product in their hand care collection is made of natural essential oils and plant-derived ingredients like Aloe Vera Gel, Olive Oil and Glycerin, so you can feel good about sudsing up. The soaps are also paraben free.
The Foaming Hand Soaps are available for $3.99 each at stores including Walmart, Target and Whole Foods as well as www.mrsmeyers.com.
