2013 has been a great year for Hollywood with the release of films such as "Iron Man 3", "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire", "Despicable Me 2", "Man of Steel", "Monsters University", "Gravity", "Fast & Furious 6", "Star Trek Into the Darkness" and "Thor: The Dark World".
Paul Walker: The actor most commonly known for his roles in the “Fast and Furious” films as Brian O’Conner died in a tragic car accident in California. He was leaving his charity event when driver Roger Rodas crashed into a light pole and a tree in a 2005 red Porsche Carrera. On December 13th a touching film by the name of “Hours” was released in theaters.
Marcia Wallace: Wallace is known for the voice of Edna Krabappel on “The Simpsons” and she died of complication due to pneumonia at the age of seventy on October 25th 2013.
Lee Thompson Young: Famously known as Jett Jackson committed suicide by gunshot wound to the head on August 19th 2013 in his Los Angeles apartment. He was only twenty-nine years old. The young star had the lead role in “The Jett Jackson Movie” released June 8, 2001. It was later determined the star was suffering from bipolar disorder and was suffering from depression.
James Gandolfini: Most known for his role as Tony Soprano in the Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning show “Sopranos”. He died in June at age 51 from a heart attack. Gandolfini also starred in great films such as “The Taking of Pelham 123” and “Enough Said”.
Richard Griffiths: Highly recognized as Harry Potter’s mean guardian Uncle Vernon in the “Harry Potter” movies, the British actor died in March from complications after heart surgery.
Richard LeParmentier: The Pittsburgh native died in April of this year and is mainly known for his role in “Star Wars”(1977) and “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”.
